A Comic Subscription lets you subscribe to a huge selection of comic titles, e.g. Amazing Spider-Man, Mighty Avengers, Action Comics etc. You can view your current Comic Subscription at any time by logging in to your free Economic Comics Member Account.
You may subscribe to any number of titles, and you can cancel at any time (but why would you want to?!)
Each month, we publish a list of comics due for release - to guarantee your copy, you must get us your request for any new titles by the published deadline date. Requests received after this date are still likely to be fulfilled, but are not guaranteed.
How do I add a Title to my Comic Subscription?
You can add titles to your subscription from the "Add Title To Subscription" page (you must be logged in)
1. Highlight the title you need from the list.
(IMPORTANT: if the title is not there, it may already be in either your Subscription or Archive).
2. Choose your start and end issue, quantity and Special Requests from the "Title Options" box. Click "Add to Basket" when ready.
3. Repeat for any other titles you may need.
4. When finished, click "Add Basket to My Subscriptions" .
Yes - you can order variant covers. When you add a title, simply state what your preference is:
1. "No Special Request" - You don't mind what cover you receive.
2. "All 50/50 Covers" - You would like copies of each regular priced cover (no higher-priced limited editions)
3. "All Covers if Available" - You would like copies of regular priced covers AND higher-priced limited editions (for example, 1 in 10 specials). We can't guarantee availability of limited editions - it's strictly first-come, first-served.
4. "All Covers if Available, and 2nd prints, etc" - You would like copies of regular priced covers AND higher-priced limited editions (for example, 1 in 10 specials) AND any reprints (2nd prints, 3rd prints, etc)
A Pull List contains all the individual comics that we are currently holding for you (that is, those comics that have not yet been dispatched). You can view your Pull List by logging in to your free Economic Comics Member Account.
When we send you a delivery, items on your Pull List will be converted into an Order. You will be able to view your complete Order History by logging in to your free Economic Comics Member Account.
When will the comics in my Pull List be dispatched?
This depends on the Shipping Frequency you have chosen (weekly, fortnightly or monthly). We aim to add comics to your Pull List within 24 hours of us receiving them (usually either a Thursday or Friday), and will then e-mail your invoice to you as soon as possible afterwards.
Can I cancel a title / order / subcription?
Of course you can! Simply send us a message using the Contact Us page, and we will remove that title from your Subscription. However, we ask you pay for all comics that have already been reserved for you in your Pull List. IMPORTANT - If you cancel a title, you may not add it again to your subscription for a period of 7 days.
We try to be as flexible as possible, and don't have many rules. REMEMBER: you can add and remove titles from your Subscription whenever you like! If you're not sure, just send us a message, and ask.
The Rules!
1. You must pay for all comics that have been reserved for you in your Pull List.
2. If you cancel a title from your Subscription, you may not add it again for a period of 7 days.
3. If you request an item less than 12 hours before its release day, you will be charged our normal retail price for that item (usually 5% more than the advance price). For example, if a comic is released on Thursday, you must request it by NOON on the Wednesday before, to benefit from the cheaper price.
However, we think you'll find that even our normal retail prices are pretty cheap!
We offer you a choice of postage and packing options. If you don't tell us which you want, we will automatically use Second Class post.
UK First Class (1 - 2 business days)
- Comics - £1.30 + 30p for each additional comic
- Magazines - £1.65 + 60p for each additional magazine
- Soft Cover Graphic Novels / Trade Paperbacks - £1.95 + 90p per additional soft cover
- Hard Cover Graphic Novels - £3.00 + £1.50 per additional hard cover
UK Second Class (3+ business days)
- Comics - £1.15 + 25p for each additional comic
- Magazines - £1.55 + 50p for each additional magazine
- Soft Cover Graphic Novels / Trade Paperbacks - £1.80 + 75p per additional soft cover
- Hard Cover Graphic Novels - £2.50 + £1.50 per additional hard cover
Optional UK "Signed For" delivery is available for just 80p extra in both cases.
Europe (Airmail only)
- Comics - £2.50 + 55p for each additional comic
- Magazines - Not currently available
- Soft Cover Graphic Novels / Trade Paperbacks - Not currently available
- Hard Cover Graphic Novels - Not currently available
Optional International "Signed For" delivery is available for just £3.75 extra.
You may combine different types of items - you will be charged the highest price once only (e.g. £2.50 for a Hard Cover), and all other items will be charged at their "additional" price (e.g. 25p for a comic, or 75p for a Soft Cover).
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes! We currently deliver to the UK and the rest of Europe - see above for postage rates.
How often can I have my comics delivered?
You can choose to have your comics shipped either monthly, fortnightly or weekly. We usually receive our stock on Thursdays or Fridays.
